The illustration was made to introduce the villains of the story in the book Monster Girls - Cruel Reality. They are members of the organization of mages and aberrations, the Church of Torment.

In the story, purple represents magic, so I used purple tones in the illustration as if the light of magic was reaching the whole room, with emphasis on the light coming from the window.
